(NORFOLK COUNTY, ON) - Three individuals have been charged with drug trafficking following a traffic stop in Simcoe.

On Monday, August 25, 2025, at approximately 11:45 am, members of the Haldimand/Norfolk Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Community Street Crime Unit, with assistance from Norfolk County OPP officers, conducted a traffic stop and investigation on Luscombe Drive in Simcoe.

During the interaction with the three occupants of the vehicle, officers took one passenger into custody, leading to the seizure of suspected cocaine, crack cocaine, and drug-related paraphernalia. The driver and the second passenger were subsequently taken into custody as well.

As a result, 40-year-old Jason CROMBEZ of Norfolk County was charged with the following alleged offences:

• Possession of a Schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking - cocaine - two counts, - Failure to comply with release order - other than to attend court, - Fail to comply with Probation Order

The accused remains in custody and is scheduled to appear for a bail hearing at the Ontario Court of Justice in Simcoe on Monday, August 25, 2025.

Also charged with the following alleged offences is 46-year-old Melissa MARTIN of Norfolk County:

• Possession of a Schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking - cocaine - two counts, - Driving while under suspension - two counts

The accused is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Simcoe on Tuesday, September 23, 2025.

Also charged with the following alleged offence is 50-year-old Toni FEERE of Norfolk County:

• Possession of a Schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking - two counts
