(FORT, FRANCES ON)  - Members of the Fort Frances Ontario Provincial Police have arrested and charged two individuals for bail violations.

On Thursday, September 5th, 2025 at approximately 12:15 pm, in the City of Fort Frances, Fort Frances OPP were on general patrol, near King’s Highway and McIrvine Road, when they observed a male driver not wearing his seatbelt. A traffic stop was conducted and two male occupants were identified in the vehicle.

Further investigation revealed that the two male occupants were on release orders, from August 23rd, 2025, not to communicate with each other.

As a result, Ryan BELL, 33, of Fort Frances and Jeremy Bell, 38, of Fort Frances are charged with Failure to Comply with Undertaking contrary to the Criminal Code of Canada.

Both accused’s remain in custody and are scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Fort Frances on Friday, September 5th, 2025.
