TRAFFIC STOP LEADS TO CHARGE
(CHATHAM KENT, ON) - The Elgin Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), has charged an individual following a traffic stop.
On Tuesday, December 30, 2025, at approximately 9:00 am, a member of the Elgin OPP stopped a passenger vehicle on Brook Line in the Municipality of Chatham Kent.
A 28-year-old of Chatham was charged under the Highway Traffic Act with Drive Motor Vehicle - Perform stunt - Excessive speed.
The 28-year-old’s driver’s licence has been suspended for 30 days, and the vehicle was impounded for 14 days.
