(HALDIMAND COUNTY) - An individual is facing charges following a traffic stop.

On October 8, 2025, at approximately 1:35 am, members of the Haldimand detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) arrested a driver on Highway 6, Haldimand County.

The investigation determined that the vehicle brought attention to the police, and a traffic stop was conducted.

Mohamadlouay BRIJAOUI, 21-years-old of Hannon has been charged with the following offences:

• Possession of Weapon for Dangerous Purpose
• Drive Motor Vehicle - Perform Stunt - Excessive Speed
• Speeding 50+ km/h Over Posted Limit
• Disobey Stop Sign - Fail to Stop (two counts)
• Driver Fail to Surrender Licence

The accused is scheduled to appear before the Ontario court of Justice in Cayuga on November 4, 2025.
