(WEST PERTH, ON) - The Perth County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) have arrested two individuals on numerous charges following a traffic stop and seizure of firearms and drugs in the Municipality of West Perth

On November 3, 2025 the Perth County OPP conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle on St. George St in the town of Mitchell. The driver of the vehicle was prohibited from driving and was arrested. Upon searching the vehicle, police seized two firearms, one of which was loaded, along with ammunition, and drugs suspected to be cocaine and methamphetamine.

Both accused individuals are being held in custody and are schedule to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Stratford on November 4, 2025.
