(ADELAIDE METCALFE, ON) - Driver facing impaired charge after traffic stop in Adelaide Metcalfe.

On May 31, 2025, at 10:36 pm, a member of the Middlesex County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) while on general patrol on Centre Road in Adelaide Metcalfe, observed a suspicious vehicle, at which time a traffic stop was initiated.

The driver was placed under arrest and transported to the Middlesex OPP detachment.

As a result, Nathan DEVRIES, a 30-year-old of Strathroy, has been charged under the Criminal Code with:

• Operation while impaired - blood alcohol concentration (80 plus)

The accused has been released from police custody and is scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice to speak to the charges on July 22, 2025.
