TRAFFIC STOP LEADS TO IMPAIRED CHARGE


(THAMES CENTRE, ON) - Driver facing impaired charge after traffic stop in Dorchester.

On August 24, 2025, at 12:38 am, a member of the Middlesex County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) while on general patrol on Marion Street in Dorchester, the Municipality of Thames Centre, observed a suspicious vehicle, at which time a traffic stop was initiated.

The driver was placed under arrest and transported to the Middlesex OPP detachment.

As a result, Curtis NOGUIERA, a 23-year-old of Dorchester, has been charged under the Criminal Code with:

  • Operation while impaired - blood alcohol concentration (80 plus)

The accused has been released from police custody and is scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice to speak to the charges on September 25, 2025.
