TRAFFIC STOP LEADS TO IMPAIRED DRIVER


(LUCAN BIDDULPH, ON) - Driver facing Impaired charge after traffic stop.

On October 13, 2025, at 4:43 pm, a member of the Middlesex County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) while on general patrol on Elginfield Road in the Township of Lucan Biddulph, observed vehicle travelling in excess of the posted speed limit.  

A traffic stop was initiated at which time the driver was placed under arrest and transported to the Middlesex OPP Detachment.

As a result, Daniel TRACY, a 35-year-old of Stratford, has been charged under the Criminal Code and Highway Traffic Act with:

  • Operation while impaired - blood alcohol concentration (80 plus)
  • Speeding 1 - 49 Km/h over posted limit
  • Driving while under suspension

The accused has been released from police custody and is scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice to speak to the charges on November 20, 2025.
