(ST. CLAIR TOWNSHIP, ON) - One individual faces charges following a traffic stop in St. Clair Township.

On June 23, 2025, just after 9:00 pm, while conducting general patrol, a member of the Lambton County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) conducted a traffic stop on Brigden Road after observing.

As a result of the investigation, Christopher VANSEVENANT, 36-year-old of Brigden, was arrested and charged under the Criminal Code with the following offences:

• Operation while impaired - blood alcohol concentration (80 plus)
• Operation while impaired - alcohol and drugs
• Dangerous Operation

A 90-day Administrative Driver’s License Suspension (ADLS) and a seven-day vehicle impoundment was initiated as per statute.

The accused has been released from police custody and is scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice in the City of Sarnia on July 31, 2025.
