(MIDDLESEX CENTRE, ON) - Driver facing Impaired charge after traffic stop.

On October 10, 2025, at 3:03 am, a member of the Middlesex County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) while on general patrol on Sharon Drive near Woodhull Road in the Municipality of Middlesex Centre, observed a suspicious vehicle.

A traffic stop was initiated at which time the driver was placed under arrest and transported to the Middlesex OPP Detachment.

As a result, Tyona DO, a 31-year-old of London, has been charged under the Criminal Code, Highway Traffic Act and Liquor Licence Control Act with:

• Operation while impaired - blood alcohol concentration (80 plus)
• Novice driver - B.A.C. above zero
• Driver fail to surrender licence
• Driving motor vehicle with open container of liquor

The accused has been released from police custody and is scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice to speak to the charges on November 10, 2025.
