(BLANDFORD-BLENHEIM, ON)  - An individual from the Kitchener is facing multiple charges, including impaired driving after police stopped a vehicle for excessive speed.

On September 21, 2025, at approximately 1:00 am, the Oxford Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Detachment were conducting speed enforcement on Oxford Road 29, in the Township of Blandford-Blenheim, where a motor vehicle was stopped for excessive speed.

Anil Dasari, 30-years-old, of Kitchener, has been charged with:  

• Operation while Impaired - Alcohol
• Operation while Impaired - Blood alcohol concentration (80 plus)
• Dangerous Operation
• Driving while under suspension (Two counts)
• Drive motor vehicle - Perform stunt
• Drive motor vehicle, no currently validated permit
• Fail to surrender insurance card

A 90-day Administrative Driver’s License Suspension (ADLS) and a 14-day vehicle impoundment was initiated as per statute.

The accused was released from custody and is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Woodstock on a later date.
