(RENFREW, ON) - The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) East Region Community Street Crime Unit (CSCU) has charged one person following a traffic stop in the Town of Renfrew.

On Wednesday, September 17, 2025, at approximately 10:40 am, members of CSCU conducted a traffic stop in the Town of Renfrew.

As a result of the investigation, Jason LINDEN age 48 of Ottawa was charged with:

• Possession of property obtained by crime under $5000
• Possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose
• Possession of a prohibited device or ammunition
• Possession of a schedule 1 substance-cocaine
• Possession of a firearm or ammunition contrary to prohibition order

The accused was held for a bail hearing.
