(TECUMSEH, ON) - One person has been charged following a traffic stop in Tecumseh.

On October 12, 2025, at approximately 3:30 am, members of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) conducted a vehicle stop on Lanoue Street in the Town of Tecumseh.

Hudson HIND-DERSCH, 22-years-old of Tecumseh was arrested and charged with the following Liquor Licence and Control Act, Criminal Code, and Highway Traffic Act offences:

• Operation while impaired - alcohol and drugs
• Operation while impaired - blood alcohol concentration (80 plus)
• Novice driver - B.A.C. above zero
• Having control of a motor vehicle with open container of liquor

A 90-day Administrative Driver’s License Suspension (ADLS) and a seven-day vehicle impoundment was initiated as per statute.

The accused was scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice - Windsor on October 22, 2025, to answer to the charges.
