(LONDON, ON)  - Driver facing refusal charge after traffic stop.

On November 24, 2025, at 12:41 am, a member of the Middlesex County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) while travelling through the City of London on Sunningdale Road East, observed a suspicious vehicle, at which time a traffic stop was initiated.

The driver was placed under arrest and transported to the Middlesex OPP detachment.

As a result, Laith HAJOU, a 22-year-old of London, has been charged under the Criminal Code with:

• Failure or refusal to comply with demand

The accused was released from police custody and is scheduled to attend the Ontario Court of Justice in London on December 18, 2025, to speak to the charges.
