(MAPLETON TWP, ON) - The Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) charges Lucknow resident under the Highway Traffic Act.
On June 9, 2025, at approximately 1:00 pm, members of the Wellington County OPP Traffic Management Unit were performing a proactive traffic enforcement initiative when a traffic stop was initiated on Wellington Road 86, within Mapleton Township.
As a result of the investigation, a 33-year-old from Lucknow is charged under the Highway Traffic Act with:
- Defective braking system
- No muffler - motor vehicle
- Improper mudguards
- Drive with windshield coated - view obstructed
- Drive motor vehicle, no currently validated permit
The accused was also given warnings under the Highway Traffic Act for:
- Colour coating obscuring interior
- Obstruct plate
