(CENTRE WELLINGTON TWP, ON) - The Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) charges North York resident stemming from a traffic stop.
On October 7, 2025, at approximately 2:45 pm, members of the Wellington County OPP Traffic Management Unit were conducting a proactive traffic enforcement initiative and performed a traffic stop on Wellington Road 29, within Centre Wellington Township.
As a result of the investigation, a 47-year-old of North York has been charged under the Highway Traffic Act with:
- Driving while under suspension - family support
- Fail to surrender permit for motor vehicle
- Drive motor vehicle, no currently validated permit
The accused is scheduled to appear in the Provincial Offences Court - Guelph at a later date.
