(GUELPH-ERAMOSA TWP, ON) - The Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) charges Cambridge resident with several provincial offences.
On June 25, 2025, at approximately 3:15 pm, members of the Wellington County OPP Traffic Management Unit were performing a proactive traffic enforcement initiative, which resulted in a traffic stop being conducted on Wellington Road 31 within Guelph-Eramosa Township.
As a result of the investigation, a 24-year-old from Cambridge is charged under the Highway Traffic Act and the Compulsory Automobile Insurance Act with:
- Operate a motor vehicle without insurance
- Drive motor vehicle, no currently validated permit
- Improper muffler - motor vehicle
