TRAFFIC STOP RESULTS IN CHARGES FOR SUSPENDED DRIVER
(LONDON, ON) - Traffic stop results in charges for suspended driver.
On December 23, 2025, at 9:55 pm, a member of the Middlesex County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), performing a traffic enforcement initiative on Veterans Memorial Parkway in the City of London, just north of Highway 401 observed a suspicious vehicle.
A vehicle was observed travelling well below the posted 90km/h speed limit at which time a traffic stop was initiated.
It was determined the driver was suspended.
As a result, a 27-year-old of London, has been charged under the Highway Traffic Act with:
- Driving while under suspension (two counts)
The accused has been released from police custody and is scheduled to appear in the Ontario Provincial Traffic Court to speak to the charges.
The vehicle was towed from the scene and was impounded for 7-days.
