(PLYMPTON-WYOMING, ON) - An Individual faces multiple charges following a traffic stop in the town of Wyoming.
On June 17, 2025, just before 7:45 pm, members of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) conducted a traffic stop on Confederation Line, east of Ketter Way, for a Highway Traffic Act (HTA) violation.
As a result of the investigation, an individual was taken into custody without incident. Police seized a quantity of suspected cocaine, Canadian currency and other offence-related property.
A 41-year-old of London, has been arrested and charged under the Controlled drugs and Substances Act (CDSA) and Criminal Code with the following offences:
- Possession of a schedule I substance for purpose of trafficking - Cocaine
- Possession of weapon for dangerous purpose
- Failure to comply with release order - other than to attend court (two counts)
The accused was held pending a bail hearing, remanded into custody, and is set to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice on June 23, 2025, in the City of Sarnia.
