(BROCKTON, ON) - On November 11, 2025, the South Bruce Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) were conducting a Reduce Impaired Driving Everywhere (RIDE) program at Bruce Road 1 and Bruce Road 15 in the Municipality of Brockton.
At approximately 10:38 pm, a vehicle entered the area and the driver was spoken to by police. The investigating officer detected signs of impairment and took the driver into custody. The passenger was found to be in possession of a suspected illicit drug and was also taken into custody.
Andrew OLSON, 28-years-old, resident of Cargill, was charged with:
- Operation while impaired, CC 320.14(1)(a)
- Possession of a schedule I substance, CDSA 4(1)
Pete OLSON, 28-years-old, resident of Cargill, was charged with:
- Possession of a schedule I substance, CDSA 4(1)
- Fail to comply with probation order, CC 733.1(1)
The accused are both set to appear at the Walkerton Ontario Court of Justice on December 17, 2025, to answer to the charges.
