(NORFOLK COUNTY, ON) - Two individuals have been charged following a drug trafficking investigation conducted by members of the Haldimand/Norfolk Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Community Street Crime Unit (CSCU).
At approximately 1:14 pm on Tuesday, August 12, 2025, the Haldimand/Norfolk OPP CSCU, with assistance from the West Region OPP Tactics and Rescue Unit, executed a search warrant on Thames Street North in Ingersoll, Oxford County, as part of a Norfolk County drug trafficking investigation.
Officers located an individual inside a vehicle on the premises and arrested them without incident. A search of the vehicle resulted in the seizure of suspected fentanyl, cocaine, MDMA (ecstasy), hydromorphone, and drug-related paraphernalia, and the vehicle was also seized.
At approximately 3:28 pm that same day, officers executed a search warrant at a residence on Dundas Street in London, Ontario. One individual was arrested without incident, and the search resulted in the seizure of Canadian currency and drug-related paraphernalia.
As a result, 51-year-old Kenneth KERR of London, Ontario, was charged with the following alleged offences:
- Possession of a Schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking - cocaine, - Possession of a Schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking - other drugs, - Possession of a Schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking - opioid (other than heroin) - two counts, - Fail to comply with Probation Order, - Possession of property obtained by crime over $5,000
Also charged is 41-year-old Shannon KICK of London, Ontario, with the following alleged offences:
- Possession of a Schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking - cocaine, - Possession of a Schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking - other drugs, - Possession of a Schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking - opioid (other than heroin) - two counts, - Possession of property obtained by crime over $5,000
The accused individuals remain in custody and are scheduled to appear for a bail hearing at the Ontario Court of Justice in Simcoe on Wednesday, August 13, 2025.
