TWO VEHICLE COLLISION INVOLVING MOTORCYCLE RESULTS IN FATALITY
ON HIGHWAY 403 NEAR LINCOLN ALEXANDER PARKWAY
(HAMILTON, ON) - Officers from the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), Highway Safety Division (HSD) - Burlington Detachment are investigating a two-vehicle collision between a motorcycle and a sedan that resulted in a fatality to the driver of the motorcycle.
At 2:09 pm on Monday, July 7, 2025, reports were received of a serious collision involving a sedan and a motorcycle on the westbound 403 highway near the on ramp from the Lincoln Alexander Parkway in Hamilton, Ontario. Emergency services attended the scene and the driver of the motorcycle, a 20-year-old male from Oakville, the lone occupant, was transported to a local hospital with critical injuries and was subsequently declared deceased at the hospital.
The lone occupant of the sedan was not injured and remained on scene.
The OPP-HSD Traffic Support Unit attended to complete a thorough technical/reconstructive motor vehicle investigation of the scene. The highway and various ramps in the area were closed for approximately 4 hours for the collision investigation and cleanup. No charges have been laid and the investigation is ongoing.
