Police Make Arrest
(PEMBROKE, ON) - The Upper Ottawa Valley (UOV) Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) has laid charges in relation to a break, enter and mischief at a business in downtown Pembroke on January 4, 2026.
As a result of this investigation 40-year-old Nicholas LESTER of Pembroke has been arrested and charged with the following Criminal Code (CC) offences:
- Break and enter with intent to commit an indictable offence
- Mischief under $5000
- Breach of probation - three counts
The accused was held for a bail hearing and remains in custody until their next appearance at the Ontario Court of Justice in Pembroke on January 14, 2026.
