-UPDATE #1- COLLISION CAUSES ROAD CLOSURE ON TALBOT STREET WEST

Road Re-Opened

(LEAMINGTON, ON) - The Leamington Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) was investigating a two-vehicle collision on Talbot Street West in Leamington.

On July 28, 2025, at approximately 6:50 pm, emergency services including members of the Essex County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), Essex-Windsor Emergency Medical Services, Leamington Fire Services, attended Talbot Street West in Leamington for a two-vehicle collision.

Drivers from both vehicles were transported to hospital in ambulances; one driver with serious injuries and the other as precautionary.

Talbot Street West was closed between Fraser Road and County Road 31 during the investigation but has now been re-opened.
