UPDATE #1 - INCREASED POLICE PRESENCE IN EXETER

One in custody

(HURON, ON) - The Huron County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) have one person in custody following incident with a individual in crisis.

Police are advising that the shelter in place for residents of the apartment complex has now been lifted. There were no injuries to the individual, members of the public or police personnel and police resources have cleared the area. This investigation remains ongoing.

The name of the individual is not being released due to concerns for their wellbeing.
