-UPDATE #1- NOTTAWASAGA OPP SEEKING WITNESSES AND DRIVER IN FATAL COLLISION

Vehicle Identified 

(NEW TECUMSETH, ON) - The Nottawasaga Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) is investigating a fatal collision involving vehicle and a pedestrian in New Tecumseth. 

On Sunday, August 24, 2025, at approximately 1:30 am, officers responded to a report of a pedestrian struck by a vehicle on 13th Line, near Adjala Tecumseth Townline. 

The vehicle involved, a 2020 - 2025 Ford Escape, is believed to have fled the scene.
