-UPDATE #1- OPP INVESTIGATING GUNSHOTS FIRED AT CALEDON RESIDENCE

Heavy Police Presence Cleared

(CALEDON, ON) - The Caledon Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) is investigating after gunshots were reportedly fired in the Petch Avenue and Dunlevy Road area of Caledon. The heavy police presence has cleared, but the investigation remains ongoing.

On Monday, August 4, 2025, at approximately 1:15 am, officers received reports of multiple gunshots being fired at an occupied residence on Petch Avenue. No injuries were reported.

Two individuals believed to be involved fled the scene in a blue sedan prior to police arrival.

Officers, including members of the OPP Forensic Identification Services Unit, continue to investigate.
