-UPDATE #1- OPP INVESTIGATING SERIOUS COLLISION IN NORFOLK COUNTY

One Person Deceased

(DELHI, ON) - The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) is investigating a fatal collision on Highway 3 between Delhi and Simcoe, which led to the closure of Highway 3 in both directions between Lynedoch Road and Scott Street. The road has since reopened.

On Saturday, September 20, 2025, at approximately 8:15 pm, members of the Norfolk Detachment of the OPP responded to a serious collision involving a pickup truck and an SUV. The driver of the SUV, a 45-year-old female from Aurora, was pronounced deceased at the scene. The driver of the pickup truck was taken to hospital with minor injuries.
