One Person Deceased, Driver Arrested

(CORNWALL, ON) - One person is deceased, and one remains in hospital with serious injuries following a head-on collision involving a motorcycle and an SUV on County Road 18 near Chapel Road in the Cornwall area.

On Saturday, June 21, 2025, at approximately 4:00 pm, members of the Stormont, Dundas and Glengarry (SD&G) Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to reports of a serious collision, in which a motorcycle carrying two people was struck by an SUV.

The deceased has been identified as a 47-year-old male from Martintown, South Glengarry. A 14-year-old male on the motorcycle sustained serious injuries and remains in hospital.

The driver of the SUV has been arrested in connection with this incident. Details will be released when available.
