OPP RESPONDING TO COLLISION ON LINDSAY ROAD

(Road open and injury updates)

(SELWYN TOWNSHIP, ON) - Members of the Peterborough County Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) and emergency crews attended a serious collision that occurred at approximately 6:00pm on Thursday July 3, 2025, on Lindsay Road (County Road 1) between Fowlers Corners and Fifes Bay Road.

The collision involved three vehicles and due to the nature of the collision, closed Lindsay Road for several hours.

Three people were transported from the scene to a local hospital for treatment of injuries, which were later to be determined as minor and non-life-altering.

Lindsay Road re-opened at approximately 9:30pm, after the collision scene had been dealt with.
