-UPDATE #1- DESCRIPTION UPDATE AND SUSPECT SKETCH RELEASED

(SPRINGWATER TOWNSHIP, ON) - The Huronia West Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) is seeking the public’s assistance with identifying a suspect involved in an assault in Springwater Township.

On June 23, 2025, the Huronia West OPP received a report of an assault on a female by an unknown male at the Springwater Sports Complex located at Highway 26 and Nursery Road.

The suspect is described as:

• White male
• In 40’s (age)
• Husky build
• Approximately 5’10”
• Dark hair-short or pulled back
• Dark inked tattoo on top of forearm
• Overgrown beard - brown/red
