-UPDATE #1- ROAD CLOSED FOR COLLISION INVESTIGATION

Roadway Reopened

(HURON-KINLOSS, ON) - Bruce Road 1 has reopened following an overnight collision and closure.

Police, Bruce County Paramedic Services and Huron-Kinloss Fire & Emergency Services attended after 8:30 pm, for a collision involving a farm tractor and a pick-up truck & trailer. Both vehicles were northbound on Bruce Road 1 when the tractor was struck from behind.

The operator of the tractor, a 29-year-old resident of Kincardine, was air lifted to a London area trauma centre with serious injuries.

Bruce Road 1 was closed between Bruce Road 6 and Grey Ox Avenue; but has now been reopened. The investigation remains ongoing, and no charges have been laid at this time.
