Motorcycle Operator Succumbed to their Injuries

(FRENCH RIVER, ON) - The 68-year-old operator of the motorcycle from French River has succumbed to their injuries at the hospital.

On Wednesday, June 18, 2025, at approximately 1:45 pm, officers from the Sudbury Detachment of the OPP responded to a collision involving a motorcycle and a pedestrian. As a result of the incident, the 75-year-old pedestrian from French River is deceased, and the motorcyclist sustained serious injuries and was transported by ORNGE to a regional trauma centre.

The investigation continues with assistance from the OPP Technical Collision Investigators and Reconstructionist.
