Search Continues for Killer(s) of Mohamed Amin ISMAIL
(WELLINGTON COUNTY, ON) - Five years have passed since the body of 25-year-old Mohamed Amin ISMAIL was discovered north of Guelph, the result of a homicide. Investigators are renewing the appeal for individuals to come forward with information, no matter how small the detail may seem.
On Tuesday, August 4, 2020, at approximately 7:15 pm, members of the Wellington County Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a report of a deceased individual discovered along the roadway on Watson Road North, just south of Wellington Road 124. The deceased was identified as Ottawa resident, Mohamed Amin ISMAIL.
The Wellington County OPP Crime Unit continues the investigation under the direction of the OPP Criminal Investigation Branch (CIB). Investigators believe that individuals in the areas of Wellington County, Kitchener-Waterloo and Ottawa may have information that can help determine what happened to Mohamed.
