Road is Re-opened

(ELGIN COUNTY, ON) - The Elgin County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) are investigating a single-vehicle collision in Malahide Township.

On December 6, 2025, at approximately 7:27 pm, Malahide Fire Services and the Elgin County OPP responded to a single-vehicle collision into a hydro pole on Lyons Line.

The driver did not suffer any injuries.

Lyons Line between Belmont Road and Dorchester Road was closed, but now is open.

Updates will be provided if necessary.
