SHELTER-IN-PLACE IN EFFECT IN SIMCOE LIFTED

OPP continue to Investigate

(SIMCOE, ON) - Members of the Norfolk County OPP Crime Unit are continuing to investigate after police were called to a Kent Street North address in Simcoe.

As a result, OPP Tactics and Rescue Unit along with Emergency Response Team members, OPP Canine Services and Crisis Negotiators assisted with the investigation.

Kent Street North was closed between Union Street and Young Street to allow for investigation. There were no reports of any injuries and police are continuing to investigate.
