WESTBOUND LANES OF HIGHWAY 401 CLOSED DUE TO A VEHICLE FIRE

All Lanes Reopened

(SOUTH-WEST OXFORD, ON) - The Oxford Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) is currently on scene of a vehicle fire on Highway 401 in South-West Oxford Township.

On September 11, 2025, at approximately 11:30 am, Oxford OPP along with South-West Oxford Fire and Oxford County Paramedic Services responded to the report of a tractor trailer that was on fire on the shoulder of Highway 401 westbound.

No injuries were reported.

All three of the westbound lanes of Highway 401 were closed at Mill Street but have since reopened.
