(DUTTON-DUNWICH, ON) - Vehicle fire on Highway 401 closes road in both directions.

On September 12, 2025, at 12:32 pm, members of the Elgin County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), Medavie-Elgin EMS and local Fire, were dispatched to the eastbound lanes of Highway 401, Dutton-Dunwich, for the report of a vehicle fire.

The highway was closed briefly in both directions as fire crews put the fire out.  

There were no injuries reported.
