VEHICLE FOUND IN DITCH LEADS TO IMPAIRED CHARGE

(CENTRE WELLINGTON TOWNSHIP, ON) - A Toronto resident is facing impaired charges after their vehicle was found in an Erin ditch.

On October 14, 2025, at approximately 8:30 pm, the Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a report of a vehicle in a ditch on Third Line in Erin. Upon arrival, police located the driver who they suspected to be impaired.

As a result of the investigation, Gabriel TERAN, a 53-year-old from Toronto, was charged under the Criminal Code with:

  • Operation while impaired - alcohol and drugs
  • Failure or refusal to comply with demand

The accused was released from custody and is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice - Guelph on October 31, 2025.
