(ZORRA, ON) - Members of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), Oxford Detachment responded to a report of a vehicle in the ditch, resulting in one person being charged with impaired driving.

On May 30, 2025, at approximately 9:30 pm, members of Oxford OPP were dispatched to a report of a vehicle in the ditch, on the 37th Line in the Township of Zorra.

As a result of the investigation, Ross HARKES, 31-years-old, of Putnam, has been charged with:

• Dangerous Operation
• Operation While Impaired - Alcohol
• Operation While Impaired - Blood Alcohol Concentration (BAC) 80 plus

The accused has been released from custody and is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Woodstock on July 15, 2025.
