(NORTH MIDDLESEX, ON) - Driver facing Impaired driving charge after vehicle leaves road and enters ditch.

On October 8, 2025, at 7:14 pm, members of the Middlesex County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), were dispatched to Townsend Line near Ausable Road in the Municipality of North Middlesex, for the report of a single vehicle collision.

Investigation revealed a single vehicle left the roadway and entered the ditch.

There were no injuries reported.

As a result, Jana SEAL, a 46-year-old of Strathroy, has been charged under the Criminal Code with:

• Operation while impaired - Alcohol
• Operation while impaired - blood alcohol concentration (80 plus)

The accused has been released from police custody and is scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice to speak to the charges on November 6, 2025.
