WANTED INDIVIDUAL ARRESTED IN PEMBROKE
(PEMBROKE, ON) - The Upper Ottawa Valley (UOV) Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) recently arrested a man wanted since 2024 for several driving offences in the City of Pembroke.
On the morning of January 9, 2026, UOV OPP officers, with assistance from the Tactics and Rescue Unit (TRU) and Canine unit, executed an arrest warrant at a residence in Pembroke.
Jonathan MACMUNN, age 37 of Pembroke, was taken into custody without incident and charged with the following Criminal Code offences:
- Failure or refusal to comply with demand
- Operation while prohibited under the Criminal Code - eight counts
The accused was held for a bail hearing and subsequently released to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Pembroke on January 20, 2026.
