(DUFFERIN COUNTY)  - Officers from the Dufferin Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) executed warrants on an Orangeville resident following a police investigation.

On August 20, 2025, members of the Dufferin OPP Community Street Crime Unit (CSCU), with assistance from the Repeat Offender Parole Enforcement (ROPE) team and Dufferin B Platoon, executed three bench warrants on an Orangeville resident. The operation resulted in the arrest of one individual and the seizure of fentanyl. 

As a result, Scott LEMOS, 39-year-old, from Orangeville has been charged with:

• Poss of a Schedule I substance for the purpose of Trafficking-Other drugs
• Fail to Comply with Probation Order

The following items were seized during the investigation:

• 24 grams of Fentanyl
