(SOUTH-WEST OXFORD, ON) - The Oxford Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) is currently on scene of a vehicle fire on Highway 401 in South-West Oxford Township.

On September 11, 2025, at approximately 11:30 am, Oxford OPP along with South-West Oxford Fire and Oxford County Paramedic Services responded to the report of a tractor trailer that was on fire on the shoulder of Highway 401 westbound.

No injuries have been reported.

All three of the westbound lanes of Highway 401 are currently closed at Mill Street.

Emergency services are working diligently to open lanes as soon as possible.
