(ALLISTON, ON) - The Nottawasaga Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) has charged a witness with perjury following an investigation into testimonies provided during a court proceeding.

During a recent criminal trial, the Nottawasaga OPP entered into a perjury investigation. During court proceedings, a witness under oath provided conflicting and unreliable information.

As a result of the investigation, a 37-year-old from Bradford was charged with perjury.

The accused is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Bradford at a later date to answer to the charge.
