YOUNG MOTORIST FACING NUMEROUS CHARGES


(NORFOLK COUNTY, ON) - A young motorist is facing multiple driving-related charges after being stopped by police on Highway 3.

At approximately 2:34 am on Monday, July 7, 2025, a member of the Norfolk County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) conducted a traffic stop on Highway 3 in Delhi and initiated an investigation after observing a vehicle travelling at a high rate of speed.

Following an interaction with the driver, the individual was taken into custody without incident.

As a result, 18-year-old Noah MARTIN of Norfolk County has been charged with the following alleged offences:

  • Failure or refusal to comply with demand, - Drive motor vehicle - perform stunt - excessive speed, - Speeding 50+ km/h over posted speed limit, - Novice driver refuse to provide breath sample, - Fail to surrender permit for motor vehicle

The accused is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Simcoe on Tuesday, August 5, 2025.
