(SOUTHWEST MIDDLESEX, ON) - Youth charged after disturbance in Southwest Middlesex.

On August 27, 2025, at 8:28 pm, members of the Middlesex County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) were dispatched to an address in Newbury, Municipality of Southwest Middlesex for the report of a disturbance.

As a result, a 13-year-old was taken into custody without incident and charged with Assault and Failure to comply with release order - other than to attend court, under the Criminal Code.

There were no injuries reported.

The youth was held for bail.

The youth’s identity is protected under the Youth Criminal Justice Act (YCJA).
