Requesting Assistance to Locate Stolen Vehicle and Identify Woman Responsible for Hit and Run

ORIGINAL

Just before 5:40 pm on Friday, June 17, 2022, a community member attended a food establishment on Regent Street in Greater Sudbury. While inside picking up her order, she saw an unknown woman getting into her vehicle, a 2008 four-door, dark grey Honda Accord with Ontario licence plate CEVE 349, that was running in the parking lot.

The community member immediately ran outside in an attempt to stop the woman from driving away in the vehicle. The community member grabbed the driver’s side mirror as the woman quickly reversed the vehicle causing the mirror to fall off. The woman then put the vehicle into drive and proceeded to run over the community member before continuing on Regent Street towards the Four Corners.

The 35 year old community member sustained serious injuries as a result of the incident and remains in hospital in serious but stable condition.
