(NORTHERN BRUCE PENINSULA, ON) - The Grey Bruce Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) are wanting members of the public to be aware of fraudulent websites offering services in the area.

On August 26, 2025, the Grey Bruce OPP were alerted to a website that was selling fraudulent tickets to a Tobermory area ferry. The fraudulent site appears quite similar to the legitimate source of ticket sales. The legitimate source has issued an alert banner on their website.

When dealing with any online purchases, exercise a moderate level of caution. Scammers will use fraudulent websites, advertisements, emails, text messages, etc. that may appear legitimate. Do some research before inputting any personal information or financial information.
